Warranty

All tattletale (PRO & HOME) units carry a one year warranty. All  tattletale sensors (PRO & HOME) carry a one year warranty.

We warrant the Unit against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for two years from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Unit, and you follow the instructions for returning the Unit, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Unit using either new or refurbished parts or (ii) replace the Unit with a new Unit that is equivalent to the Unit to be replaced. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement unit for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and Units for which a refund is given shall become our property. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the Unit that are not subject to (a) accident, misuse, neglect, fire, water damage, alteration, or (b) damage from any third-party repair, third-party parts, or other external causes.

Return Policy

The tattletale PRO unit as well as the tattletale PRO sensors carry a 30-day return policy as long as the tattletale PRO unit and tattletale PRO sensors are in “like-new” condition. Returns  deemed not in “like-new” condition are subject to a 20% or more restocking fee.

The tattletale HOME unit as well as the tattletale HOME sensors carry a 60-day return policy as long as the tattletale HOME unit and tattletale HOME sensors are in “like-new” condition. Returns deemed not in “like-new” condition are subject to a 20% or more restocking fee.

Obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization

You must obtain a Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number from Customer Support before returning a product. Products returned without an RMA number are not processed and will be returned to you. Please either call 1-888-Tell-On-U (1-888-835-5668) or email [email protected] to obtain a RMA number.

 

 

 

Our central monitoring center & emergency tech support are always open 24/7, but our corporate office will be closed Tuesday 12/24/24 & Wednesday 12/25/24 in observance of Christmas. We will re-open Thursday (12/26/23) at 8:00am EST.
